Frankincense Carterii originates from a small but hardy tree indigenous to the Middle East. The dried tears are collected, and the resin is then distilled, producing the precious oil. Frankincense Carterii has many therapeutic properties. Comparing with Boswellia serrata, the Organic Frankincense that we carry, Carterii has a higher amount of a-pinene and limonene, therefore it is stronger in its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant and relaxation properties.
